Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am sad about the red storm shrinking. My favorite planet, too.

Giant Star Wars pool toys and kites

Thanks tommyrot. My son needs one of those.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Jamaican restaurant near here has "steamed fish head" on the menu.

Um, ew?

eta: No mention if it's roly-poly

Does fish head qualify as exotic?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I use fish heads to make fish stock and stew, but I've never eaten one on its own. I have a squick about food with eyes.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have a squick about food with eyes.

Do potatoes count?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do potatoes count?

I bet she enuculates them.

Coding and Sleeping

I bet she enuculates them.

I was going to say that sounds cruel, but I've been know to skin them, slice them up with a knife, boil them, and then smash them so I'm not really one to talk.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The Jamaican restaurant near here has "steamed fish head" on the menu.

Which restaurant?

Which restaurant?

Kingston Grill. It's the one in the mall at the corner of Dempster and Dodge.

Oh, I just found the steamed fish head in the menu. You have a choice of grouper or snapper.

eta: "$9.50. Allow 20 minutes."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fish heads are a bit spare of flesh. I also prefer mine crispy.
