I do not sing to the cats.
I just give them stupid nicknames. Bubba, Boyo, Old Man, Meester, Devi-doo, Baby Girl, Mimi, Sweet Bitchy Kitty, Lokis, Lokes, Little Man, Ki-TEN.

You do realize that 3 years ago that entire sentence would be meaningless. Aren't the interwebs grand?
I have little songs for my cats. Okay, just the one about second breakfast.
And I think Clio thinks I understand her chirps and trills. Clio, BTW, may not love going to the vet, but she kind of loves all the people, and they love her. Even though she peed on the vet the last time. She always gets treats.
I watched Howard's End last weekend, and I was gutted to remember that after Pico died, I decided I was going to name my next cat Tibby, but then I forgot when I got Oz. I thought about changing his name, but I've already got a nametag made for him.
I had to leave Spare Cat out and about in the house as I could not find her to stow her back into the study. I'm hoping that felinicide will not have occurred while I'm here at night school class, but basically they're all big fixed marshmallows.
Oh ugh, msbelle. Hope you're through the worst of it.
Did I tell you that everyone I know uses "noodle" now? A coworker tried to call it my word, and I was like, Oh no -- not my word! Relatedly, I call my cat "my noodle," ala "my nizzle." And sometimes Senor Don Gato.
A couple of years ago, Columbus had a serial shooter. He was shooting off overpasses and killed a grandmother on her way back from a doctor's appointment.
I remember that! I was worried for my sister and her family, And you and your family!
You people and your pets are weird.

That was the other thing in Howard's End, Emma Thompson's character called HBC's character a noodle.
