I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

How's cathood?

Excellent, except. They are very well-behaved and getting along like brothers. But Kripkat has had an eye infection for over a week that got worse. Today he had a bad fever and had to get IV fluids and medicine five times a day now for a URI. I feel bad for the little one, but thank god it's the cat that will permit being held.

Poor Kripkat. And you cat pillers. Glad they are getting along. I no longer try keeping Loki and Devi apart after several days when I couldn't find Loki to lock him away, so I gave up. But they are getting better. Sllllooooowwwlllllyyyyyy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

People were saying that he MIGHT be faking.

I accidentally stumbled onto pictures of this guy. In his one-eyed state, but after he'd plucked out the second eye.

I'm unschooled, but if you think plucking your eyes out is a good plan, you might be crazy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Last night we went to see the Chad Mitchell Trio in concert. (It was in honor of their 50th anniversary) Good concert, even if we may have been the youngest people there who were not with their parents.

Now tagless for your comfort.

A couple of years ago, Columbus had a serial shooter. He was shooting off overpasses and killed a grandmother on her way back from a doctor's appointment. Long history of paranoid schizophrenia coupled with non-compliance on meds. He pleaded guilty but mentally ill and got a nice, cushy 28 year prison sentence. People went off in the papers about what a crock his "illness" was and how he got off lightly.

Needless to say, I responded vehemently. Poor bastard reminded me too much of my brother.

It's been a very hard night.

Noah hates Cookie Monster. Each time CM appears (in a book, or on a toy) he starts really really crying. WTF? In other Noah news, in addition to the sillies video from my LJ, he also is learning Up and Down the hard way. [link]

I'm in the middle of a really bad angry thing with the Marine recruiter who comes to campus. He told a student that she shouldn't waste her time going to college and if she knew more about the Marines she would, of course, want to join. When she declined to give him personal info, he pointed out that he had all the numbers of every kid at the school (also true). GRRRR... I want to run him over.

just listening. it makes me feel less crazy. I just need to hold it together for about another hour. I can do that.

Also a ton of slippage.

msbelle, I wish I could help you!
