I'm all jealous now--my dad just sent an e-mail saying that he and my brother are flying down to Tampa for the weekend tomorrow morning. He gets to escape all the cold of the next few days!!

In addition temperatures will plummet tonight to 10 to 15 below zero. This combined with a biting northwest wind will create dangerous wind chills of 30 to 40 below zero tonight. Thursday night will be even colder with lows approaching 20 below in some areas though wind speeds will be diminishing.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow. Travel is not recommended.
A wind chill warning means the combination of very cold air and strong winds will create dangerously low wind chill values. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.

On the pronunciation of Cinncinati, if it is anything like the Missouri/Missoura debate, the ones who turn the "i" to an "a" tend to be more Southern in accent. Most people I know in Missouri say Missouri. The Missoura people are usually from Texas or someplace else. Or from the southern part of the state.
