Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

“Not dead yet!”

But this is how I got to see the wonder that was RuPaul's Drag Race!

This is especially entertaining while stoned.

That Rebecca Glasscock was some kind of mega-bitch. I thought the other girls were going to snatch her baldheaded when she called them old.

Isn't the order salt, tequila, lime?

It is for the first three rounds. After that, anything goes.

I thought FNL got renewed?

It did. But the season is almost done, is what I should have said.

Do not misread your bank statement online and suddenly think your pay has dropped $600/month just as you are about to increase your monthly housing by $300. Jesus.

OMG figuring out how to breathe again.

That was unpleasant.

Gotta quit the nic, regardless.

Punishingly Intricate

I love passed out kitties all around me. It's soothing.

It's true! But it makes it really hard for me to get motivated to go upstairs to bed. Plus I'm watching the RuPaul Drag Show reunion right now. Such an awesome show!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, I'm so sorry Andy is gone. He's my age exactly. And seeing as the SO turned 40 yesterday, it makes me contemplative about our mortality. As happens to one, I suppose. It's partly that and partly the (really excellent) visit from our friend whose father passed away this year. We talked about it, briefly, and he cried. I've never seen him cry before. You know? It's just...it's life, and death, and I feel contemplative.

And that should probably be a separate post from this, which is mostly...

Mmmm, Leverage. I miss Leverage. I know it's not even a normal amount of time until next Leverage, but it's the kind of show I want to exist all the time.

And yeah, agree about PR. Saw Tim Gunn shilling detergent and just felt cranky about my lack of PR.

Noah is confounded by his birthday cupcake. Poor boy.
