Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

Um, what flavor is yellow jam?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have peach and apricot. I'm trying with the peach. It's weird but palatable.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I usually have peach on toast, but I'd think it would be okay with peanut butter.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oooh, peanut butter and peach jam sounds pretty good.

Peach would probably have more tang. Apricot always seems really sweet to me. Now I miss eating warm apricots of the tree at the house I grew up in.

Now tagless for your comfort.

What is it about the mention of fruit that gets my mouth watering? Mmmm...apricots.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The comment on that picture about massive bathroom sink units made me laff and laff, after ten years in NYC apartments, and a childhood in an apartment where my parents decided to get rid of one of the three closets, in order to have a bathroom you could turn around in....

I found tomato paste in a tube! Yay for no more wasted tomato paste!

Heh. 4 of the 5 closets in the house are carved out of corners. The other is what was traditionally a breezeway between the front and back bedrooms. I'm gonna have to get creative. (I have 2 huge closets and a standard linen closet in this apt.) One neighbor ran rods between the 2 closets in the master, and then a curtain across it. Not a bad idea.

And there is always the basement's "closets" which I will definitely use. That whole (huge) going to be my main not-clothes storage.
