Did they give you the thing to put in the other side of the mouth to rest your teeth?
No -- I was wondering if they would, but then I thought it would take an hour or less, and by the time I started to realize we had passed the 90-minute mark, I kept expecting to be done, and and and -- your basic procrastination.
I hope your teeth are better now!! I had to shell out $465 for today's work
I have one more appointment in 2 weeks for a couple more fillings on the other side of my mouth, and then I'm done until my 6-month cleaning in September. Even with dental insurance, the total for both filling visits is $400.
OTOH, when I had to have the tooth pulled, that was only $86, and I expected it to be way more, so I guess it all evens out.

Never had to deal with roommates having sex while I was there. (Of course, I lived in my sorority house for a year and a half, and senior year I had a single.)

Argh -- I am waiting for one thing from one person before I leave, and I don't know if I'm going to get it! The person works from home, so I don't know if she's stopped working for the day or what. Bah.
It occurs to me I could finish this one thing from home, so maybe I'll prep to do that, and just get the fuck out of here....

The dog is a tiny engineer. I have a sloped yard, much of which is a shallow lake at the moment. The terraced steps were all separate puddles. The dog discovered he could take a few careful paws of dirt off the edge and then watch the water run over the step in a little waterfall. He just did that down four steps. He's also now a mostly red-clay-colored rather than white dog.
Ha ha -- the system I need to get into is going to be down for maintenence over the weekend, so I guess I'm off the hook -- or totally on the hook Monday.
Good times.
I think I got enough work done the past 2 days to skip going in this weekend. I will have to crank on monday though.
And to pat myself on the back. I just read 40 pages in a parenting book that I've had for over a year and looks like it will be a big aid for our ishes.
Now to knit and unstress. Reading about troubled kids is not relaxing.
