We played our first game on Saturday, and not only lost but the slaughter rule was invoked. Woe!

You definitely don't want to start the season 0-4. Most of the coaches try to get a win on the books early, and then they work in some games where the pitching isn't going to be as strong. Usually if you need a win, though, you can run your best pitcher out there for four innings and make it happen though.

Remember when people on the interpipe thought you and shrift were the same person? This is why. She can't have a fainting spell without you having a sympathetic one the next day.

We were trading off being sick for a while, but now I'm sick (and getting blood taken), and she's all grabby and won't let go of her sickness.
