Oy. An adrenaline spike at the end of a very long day is no good. I seriously thought I was about to be attacked as I reached my building tonight. There was no parking available on my street so I had to park a block away. Walking from the car, as I turned the corner onto my street I suddenly saw a shadow racing up on me from behind. Luckily it was just a stoner dude on a bike who said "Hey, peace baby" as he startled the crap out of me.

Huge storm has me and Ruby cowering in a corner.
The piece of foam insulation covering my window (long story, slider windows, air conditioner, ghetto solution) blew in, taking out half the crap on my dresser. HUGE NOISE.
Mona, the dog who barks at dust particles in the air, her imagination, and occasionally at things she may want to bark at in the future so she's practicing now? Didn't even wake up.
Now, after the burst of adrenaline and comforting Ruby, I think I'm up for the day.
