I love FNL. It's so...awkward, in a good way.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{Theodosia}}} vibes to you and your mom.

Cash, that was a great column.

Told T's family. I'd called when I saw they all were home and awake and headed right over. As expected, they suspected I was moving when I asked to come over with news. They are very happy for me and, it turns out, taking first-time-homebuyer classes themselves (they've bought before but it was over a decade ago.) It was hard, but they were so excited about it, it was darling.

But they'll still be part of my life.

I liked the column Cash

and of course T and her family will still be part of your life -- they are friends , not just neighbors

I occasionally still play the spy game and have no kids

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm finally watching tonight's Rachel Maddow show, and she actually says (after revealing that her NCAA bracket pick results so far match Obama's), "I can has ride in Air Force One now???" LOLcat speak has reached cable news!!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Theo, I'm so sorry it's so hard.

msbelle and mac on the other hand? How cute? THHHIISSSSS cute!

We had a dinner-in-the-park get together with Franny's classmates. It was fun watching the kids running around like INSANE people. There was one older brother who was like 11 and he and his friend were getting trounced by all the kinder girls. Even Frances was there, kicking him and doing her war dance.

"I can has ride in Air Force One now???"

Oh, that's adorable. Rachel Maddow is SUCH a geek.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gotta run some errands today (take the car to JiffyLube, buy a new printer). Tonight is a concert.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Mom has decided she's on a liquid diet until her constipation eases up. You can imagine my reaction to the logic of THAT, but the last time I tried to reason with her, she cried for half an hour.

I so suck as a caretaker. My aunt is of the opinion that it may be time to temporarily hand Mom over to the on-site nursing home if we can't get her to take her pills. I honestly think Mom may have palmed the Tylenol I gave her this morning, which is, by the way, the only painkiller she's allowed to take.
