Oh my.
Doing some light research on "Fun Plant Facts" for the kids. Looked up Gingko biloba (living fossil! Dinosaurs knew this tree!). Looked up European Beech, not so interesting, although I love them aesthetically. Looked up Colombine.
There are actually webpages that have "fun facts" about the Colombine shooting. Seriously?!
Quickly changed my search to "Aquilegia" and now realize that I probably missed something by not typing "Fagus" instead of "Beech".
Oh Theo, thinking of you and your mom.
Mac and I are playing spy up 6th ave. I have been told "the coast is clear". We are like ninjas, so stealth and undetected.
Also adorkable.
I just went to the mall to buy a friend a present and ended up buying four shirts for myself. And a book for her.
Adorkable dispatches indeed. Keep us apprised of events as they unfold.
Will do. I will be at karate from 10- 11, so am available for freak out phone call post inspection.
Crazy neighbor approached me and apologized for her behavior over the past several months and called it inexcusable.
I don't give this much credence, as just last night as I was falling asleep she woke me up hitting the remote lock on her car about fifteen times.
beep beep, beep beep, beep beep...
Inspection will take 3-4 hours. Whee. Plus I want to measure windows and doors and introduce myself in person to the two neighbors I talked to. Plus anything my realtor wants to go over, though a lot of that will probably after we get the written report from that too. All to say, the freakout will be delayed.
Juliebird, she sounds nuts.
she sounds nuts.
She listens to WKRZY.
I think she was just nice so that she would make me agreeable to letting my cats outside earlier so that she wouldn't have to hear them bouncing off the walls from 5pm to 11pm.
Which, yay! For awhile there I was thinking maybe she might be pissy about the cats going in and out. They drive me nuts, too. Added bonus of spring fever.
They came in last night after about three hours of freedom and proceeded to dash from one of the apartment to the other while I faux-shouted "Get the mouse, Murray!"
How I loooong for a little bungalow, with a little patch of yard and just woods all around.
I'm watching Grey's, and
has there ever been a better portrayal of internet friends?? They all looked normal, and were really nice!
Yeah, I liked that.
So I'm searching and through an old listing discover that the house was listed at the same price last summer...before he'd replaced the windows and did the kitchen. Whee.
