Our wings are not tired.

I love this part of Cashmere's column:

"I've experienced guilt over choosing a breakfast cereal, so moving a pair of kids across four states was a decision that wasn't made lightly."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett's got a teacher planning day off, so we're going to see the Watchmen at 11:45. In IMAX!

I had Indian food for lunch and now am expected to get things done through this carb stupor.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

treat him as an end to himself

He's a cat. It kind of comes with the territory.

That awesome. I can't talk my kids into letting me take them to a movie, weird.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Well, Immanuel Kat is keeping his ends to himself and has settled into the cat tree in the office. Saul Kripkat, the loving, younger boy, won't stop meowing once we leave the bathroom. So the real philosopher in the house is reading in the bathroom to keep Saul Kripkat company. (If we let him out he'll just hide behind the couch and meow.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I had sushi for lunch from the cafeteria in the office building next door. I hope I don't regret that decision. It seemed fine. I liked the nigiri (tuna and red snapper) and the sashimi (salmon) just fine but man, I get sketched out by the spicy tuna roll (it was in a prepackaged combo so there wasn't any way around it). It is just texturally weird to me, and you can't even taste the fish.

So I feel all protein-ated and not overly logey.

I wonder if "conquest of the nation" is a codeword for beginning Glen Beck's revolution and they got the wrong number.

Maybe you should have responded, "DOMINATE YOUR FACE!"
