Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, if we can both keep our jobs until I move (fingers crossed), my coworker's husband has connections to movers (Israeli), so maybe I can get some kind of deal that way.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Movers are totally worth it

Absolutely. To move out here, I used Mayflower. To move into the new place, M hired some of his usual construction crew/day laborers. It was fantastic and fast.

Because books.

I like the movers to *move* the stuff, but I do like to pack myself. The time we went full-service, since S.'s company was paying, we'd find boxes with, like, one pillow and a lampshade in them. Seemed a little silly to me.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm at work. mac watching videos on my laptop from home. I am running a kagillion reports - my first time doing them, no one else in the office does them and since I do not fuly understand how to do it I am convinced I am doing them the most labor intensive way possible. this will take hours.

megan, msbelle forwarded your message, thanks!

I got a call from the other neighbor! She too was thrilled with the note, so man, that was a good call. She moved in 4 years ago, also as a first time buyer and "I didn't have a clue!" So she'll be a great resource. She and the guy I got the email from chatted about getting them. Hee! They're really happy someone is trying to buy it. She loves the hood. Apparently a fair number of single folks, interestingly. She seemed really nice and has aid to give her a call and arrange to come over for coffee or something some night to chat.

Please, please let the inspection not turn up insane demonic troll elves, just doable stuff.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Good luck to you and your mom, Theo.

Opening last night went well. Now I'm off to see the show I couldn't design because of conflicting schedules.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Moving out of one walk-up and into another made the movers worth every penny. They were kind of assholes about the stairs, but they didn't break anything so I called it a win.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
