My one cat is about the size of that lion.

Hahah! You do have large felines. I always thought of Mister Kitty as big, but I'd had a lot of diminutive cats, including Devi. I think Loki's gonna be a big one. He's already surpassed MK's weight (and is only a little bit fat.) And he's not a year yet.

Aren't tigers considerably more likely to regard humans as prey animals than lions are?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't this pretty? I wonder if it holds an edge.

Which reminds me, a friend told me about this [link] which always reminds me of monkey/jackal smackdown and OPPOSABLE THUMBS, BIATCH!

From Kat's link:

Reports of Henry’s prolific procreating, generated by child-support disputes, have highlighted how futile the N.F.L.’s attempts can be at educating its players about making wise choices.

DJ's link is one slip and fall away from a very Darwin tale.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Kat's link led me to this one: [link] which is about dirty Chinese puns, and fascinating.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Did we know there was a Tone, Tony, Toni (or whatever way it's spelled) version of "Seems it Never Rains in Southern California"?

Re: Kat's link

I keep seeing that story and it makes my blood boil. When I was home sick the other week, there was Dr. Phil about child support and I swear most of the people on BOTH sides made me want to slap them. The were for the most art horrific people using their kids as weapons and/or meal tickets. irresponsible assholey people. I feel so sorry for the kids.
