I have a friend I had to apologize to. I used to give her a hard time for finding and buying a place in under 2 weeks.
I think I just beat her record.
(She kindly pointed out that she did it 3 times in 4 years and 2 states, so I've not quite beat her.)
My dad didn't even blink. Huh. He's just happy.
And I am so Eyeore, because I am the only one dreading the inspection.
Holy crap! Sara bought a house!!!
That is AWESOME!!!
You don`t mess around Sara. Congrats! I hope your house makes you as happy as mine makes me.
If it makes you feel any more sure, Sara, we did it in one really insane long weekend -- and then made extra-super-sure of all the inspections and such. I'm convinced that if you find one that feels right, you shouldn't dump it just because you haven't already been looking for six months.
Oh, thank you.
And Sue? That was a perfect one. Well, they all were, but that stopped one square inch of skin crawl.
amych, that too!
(I fully expect a body revolt overnight.)
Oh and hey, should this go through, I'm walking distance to a huge YMCA. Maybe I could, I dunno, get in shape? Or work off the stress of home ownership.
I'd like to say I'm sorry for hijacking the thread, but to be perfectly honest, I can't get out of my own head and it is spilling all over and this helps. So I thank you for your patience and apologize for being a headcase.
I had five days to meet all the conditions of sale - inspection, financing, and proof of insurance. The financing was already in place, so it was mainly the inspection.
