Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Something the Fug girls don't have: pictures of the worst-dressed aliens. [link]

My fave is #6, "The High Collar Look." I also love #5: "The Choir-Boy Look," with ST:TOS aliens the Talosians as an example.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

So, what's everyone having for lunch today? Me, I've got a big salad and two oranges for dessert (second day in a row). Cafeteria had nothing else that appealed--it was Chinese food today, and their eggrolls and sweet and sour chicken both really suck. They do Indian food much better. The line for the sandwiches was huge compared to the Chinese food line.

I did chat with the chef/register guy who's been really supportive of my dieting over the years. He said he would give me his card when he gets his private cooking business back up--he charges $10/hour to come over to your house, work up a menu for the week with you, and then after you get the groceries, he'll return and cook up the food for the entire week. He said he can usually get it done within six hours. Not a bad price for people like me who don't cook that much at home, but I probably won't do it (too much money going to the diet doctor for now).

Art Crawl!!!

I've got leftovers from last night. (A risottoesque rice and chicken dish.)

So, what's everyone having for lunch today?

I'm having one of those "I'm hungry but I can't think of anything within walking distance that I want to eat" kind of days....

Maybe baked salmon? That would be yummy, but around $20.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I just had some Near East couscous with grilled chicken in it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I brought in a new to me Trader Joe's meal--chicken tikka masala (sp?)

Punishingly Intricate

I made some frozen TJ's mac & cheese last night and put some pecans, sundried tomatoes, and lots of edamame in it and that's what I had for lunch. Yum!

Kathy, do you not cook because you don't like to or you don't feel like you have time? or something else?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have leftovers. Wheeeeeee. And I'm starving. Trying to wait another 30 minutes, but will likely give in earlier.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oooh, we bought mac and cheese last night. That's exactly the kind of trashy thing I'm in the mood for.
