Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bet you and Doug learned your algebra real well, though.

Heh.

I think I told the story about how I had a huge crush on a woman in my first semester college calculus class. I tutored her, so I got to do the hard problems twice.

I lost one point the entire semester.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

We know students have mastered a subject when they can teach others, after all.

Ah, tommyrot, the unexploited educational potential of sex appeal. I'm totally not kidding, either. I probably learned the most from teachers I had crushes on.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

they do have PE. mac often runs races, places soccer, does something with hula hoops. He is lucky and has it twice a week. I say lucky because they rarely get recess.

They have PE at our school as well. It's on a rotation with Art and Music classes so it's either once or twice a week. They do exercises, dancing, numerous games, and some health education.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

That makes sense somehow for city kids. I was wondering (what with the extra-curricular town programs they have now) whether they still do PE in school. Growing up, there was boys* little league in the summer, but that was it. No other team sports leagues.

It was quite a revelation to get to prep school and realize I was actually athletic.

In elementary school? I thought they pretty much all had a daily recess.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Happy birthday tommyrot!

And did anyone else notice the Billy Idol sighting?

Wow, that's a shame. This seems like something kids really need!

Man I wish I had more to do at work today. I ran out of stuff and my boss is out of the office which makes it hard to get more stuff to do.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yeesh, Corwood! I'm so sorry. I recall you posting and then deleting last night, and I got worried that maybe the shootings were closer to you than the first post implied. That's just, creepy and scary, and I'm sorry.
