There are no absolutes. No right and wrong. Haven't you learned anything working for the Powers? There are only choices.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2008: "...and the horse you rode in on."

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2008? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

“Not dead yet!”

Seemed apropos. Especially given the subject matter...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Mr. Hamm, I'm guessing? Since March was a veritable smorgasbord of Mad Men goodness.

Yes, Mr. Hamm. LJ made it a little difficult to know for certain how the photos were grouped.

I have a video with one of my dearest friends playing Hermia to his Lysander.

You don't even know how much I wish I'd had the chance to play Hermia in my lifetime. What a fun role! It's worth it for the lovers' quarrel in Act III, scene 2 alone.

Beatrice was my coveted role.

Oh yes. Beatrice is arguably the best female role Shakespeare ever wrote, and i'd love to play her, too.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Beatrice was my coveted role.

Oh le word. Though I'd like to play Titania. And Portia. And (though I've not the chops for it) Hamlet.

Our wings are not tired.

My fave is Rosalind with Beatrice as a close second.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yay Beatrice! Although I love the hell out of Viola. Love love love.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Portia has some fun bits, too.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I just got a package from my old address, saying it was from the "Ghost of Suzi W." It was filled with goodies to remind me of what I left behind. So cool!!!!

  • Some "Halloween Craziness" pencils (spiderwebs and bats, oh my).
  • A couple of SF magnets - the GG bridge and Alcatraz (these are going to work).
  • Some fancy Extra-Bitter Chocolate Sause (can't wait to try it).
  • A tin of Organic Earl Red Tea (this stuff sounds so nummy - again, can't wait to brew a cuppa).
  • Three goodies from LUSH (ahhhhhhhh...will be perfect for my after karate baths).
  • A CD chock full of SF related songs (a bunch of these are new to me - will be loading to my iTunes tonight).

The card and notes were all typed, as if I would recognize handwriting...so I have no idea who my Secret Santa is. I think I have a theory. It could be midgets...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Each item made me grin bigger and bigger. THANK YOU, oh Secret Santa!!!
