Goodbye and Good Riddance 2008: "...and the horse you rode in on."

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2008? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Our wings are not tired.

Seriously, it is fun to watch the season stretched out in this thread. I didn't sign up this past year either, but I say Woo Hoo Slackers! You never know when a giftee will be squeeing over here.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup! Me three! It's fun to watch everyone's gifts arrive. But I could never do it.

I'm in the slacker for a reason category.

Compassionately intolerant

Oy. I wasn't even a slacker last year, but through one circumstance and another, poor Jars didn't receive her package until AUGUST...and on a totally different continent than the one she lives on.

The trauma kept me off the list this year, but I'll up for next year, for sure.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I agree with those who are not disappointed about not recieving a package because I have not sent! But I have thoughts!

I had every intention of sending my Santee's gift out this week, but then Sleetpocalypse hit. Hopefully by Monday.

It is kind of fun, watching the gifting season continue, isn't it?

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I was having a kind of crappy day today. Imagine my delight to have a present waiting for me at home!

I have been blessed with a very funny card and gifts to support my next race: An intriguing motivational novel titled Once A Runner, a yummy looking bottle of wine for post-race festivities, and a delightful smelling bars of Exotic Cinnamon olive oil soap and Lemongrass olive oil soap.

Thank You Secret Santa MATT THE BRUINS FAN!

If I get a new camera on Sunday I'll take some pictures to share. Until then, I'll be reading my new book!

The day I had can best be summed up by me going to work before the sun rise and getting home 30 minutes ago. Yeah. But the whole terrible, no-good, very bad day is forgotten because I had a package from my Secret Santa!!!

I have Seattle coffee, Seattle chocolate, Seattle bacon salt (that smells yum), Seattle alt-weeklies, swag from a Seattle sex shop, a gorgeous postcard showing the water AND mountains, a lotto ticket (for luck getting to Seattle F2F), and a bonus hot story by Plei!

OMG, how much do I love meara? THIS MUCH!!!

meara, thank you for all the wonderful treasures that made me so happy and I will take a picture of it tomorrow to share my joy. Thanks also to Plei for the story.
