if she'd been a boy would her parents have named her Kalel?

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2008? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Seriously, anyone who shows up in a tutu is my kind of contestent.
Loved her! So. High. all the time!
Jael is a biblical name, Toddson. Some woman who squshed a general's head with a rock or something. I only know this because it's my niece's name.
Drove a stake through his head, actually. [link]
Yes, I was aware of that ... she also appears in a Dorothy Parker poem ("I'm Judith and Jael and Madame de Stael"), which is where I picked up the pronunciation (which may be wrong). But the ANTM contestant pronounced it jay-el ... which led me to Kal-el. What can I say? it's late on a Friday and it's been a hell of a week.
Vampires could have been different then. Maybe Jael was a Slayer.
Do they pronounce this Jael or Yael? Because I've never heard of a Jael, but know hell lots of Yaels.
My parents told me this morning I got a package from Philadelphia!
I'll only get to open it this Thursday/Friday, but knowing it for now will keep me excited the whole (very interesting still gorram, long, exhausting, why-did-I-apply-here) week. Yay!
I know several people (including me) were late in sending out their packages. Just to be on record in-case senders are waiting to hear, I haven't received anything yet (which is cool, fun has no time limit).
Conversely, my giftee should have received mine, but I haven't seen it posted.
I had the ultimate pleasure of watching my giftee open her treats and guess who her santa was. I'm pretty sure she knew from the get go, but I tried to be tricksy.
