There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

They made me realise indeed.

I was in the balcony, which was shaking like an old truck on a dirt road during the sonic assault part of "You Made Me Realise." There was a beercan near my foot that was leaping up and down. Mike McGonigal was right: watching the audience was the best part. MBV did the sonic assault thing for about 15 minutes. For the first five, it seemed like people were having trouble just hanging on. Then there was a crest, and the sound was rising, and you could see on people's faces how they were rising with it. Afterwards, we went to a bar and all the concert-goers pouring in looked high, all sleepy-eyed with shit-eating grins stretched across their faces.

Oh, and the rest of the show was great, too. I imagine that it's roughly the same setlist that they would have played in 1993.

Sonic lobotomy, I fear.

MBV live. I envy thee.

Sorry, Tom! I've been planning it since before the F2F dates were decided. It's then because that's when my anniversary is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

His first Breakfast of Champions program was broadcast on Thursday, June 28, 1984

My birthday! I turned 23 on that day, and was living in Boston and actually working a few blocks from MIT (at Lotus Development).

Bevis Frond! Excellent #1 choice, and how cool of him to play.

I was shocked when he said yes. He's flying out here from London just to do this one show!
