Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Pete is the charm. And the lyricist.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yeah, I saw that (since I tape Ellen everyday) - don't like. it sounded so mumbly. but they looked to be having some fun. I am sure doing something like Ellen is a bit ugh for them and they just go through the motions.

Because books.

I hate to say it, because I adore Patrick Stump like whoa, and I think he has a fantastic voice, but the last few talk show performances, he's sounded really strained to me. Maybe just the stress of touring?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If anybody's on myspace and curious about my nephew's band: they're called The Barrelhousers. I may be suffering from auntly prejudice but I'm pretty sure they're awesome.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Pete is the charm.

For a given value of "charm", of course.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

AAAARRRGGGHHH!

I need PC iTunes help! My sister asked me to create a playlist for her iPod touch for the trip she is going on at 4:00 am tomorrow. She doesn't get home tonight until around 9:00 or 9:30.

It seemed simple enough, the iPod is plugged into her Gateway laptop and iTunes is up. After much trial and error I made a playlist and then tried to sync it with the iPod.

Well, the music didn't make it over and now iTunes is locked up and the fan or something on the laptop is running intermittently. I can't see the iPod and I can't get iTunes unstuck!

If I try to close it or click on anything I get a "Thunk" sound.

Help!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Rumours are flying that U2 are playing tonight at the Middle East in Cambridge. There had been whispers of a Boston-area club gig for a week or two, but this rumour has a bit more heft to it: a friend of mine was looking to get a police detail for an event he's putting on, and he overheard cops at the station talk about the extra detail they'd need for U2 at the Middle East.

I have no idea how to get tickets. I'll be spending the evening at another friend's house watching New Zealand's exquisite Renderers play in their living room.
