Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What part of that wasn't lip-synched?

That actually sounds like mostly live singing to me. They almost always sing live over a backing track, and sometimes the backing track is more prominent than here. (They lip sync very poorly, actually.)

Their recent performance on SNL was 100% live with no backing track. SNL has taken the video down, but it's out there via people reacting to them, for example: [link] if you'd like to compare the two performances.

If you just wanted to automatically discount the ability of pop artists, well, that's your privilege, I guess.

Not at all. It sounded lip-synched to me. [shrug]

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Why is "Mercy Mercy Me" suddenly stuck in my head? I would swear I heard it just recently, but I have no idea where.

(I don't think it was in the Legion premiere, was it?)

Did you get tickets? I was in the online queue for 35 minutes and then got the SOLD OUT message. :(

No, but I am confident they will tour.

Since they can stand to be together, they'll be together. :)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If MCR is reforming, it seems a moment to contribute this song from their book of wedding standards: [link]
