Very cool, Glam. Did she play in any bands that I might have heard of (if they ever released anything, then I might have heard of them)?
Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Perkins, I can drive, so that you may Soothe Your Pain With Booze. And odds are that the audience won't be sparking up NEARLY as much as the Gym Class Heroes/The Roots audience, so your allergies should be fine.
So is Gabe off his post-op vocal rest?
Apparently. I think it's more that he doesn't know when to quit. The new album is supposed to drop this spring, right? (Which I know was recorded back in September.)
Perkins, FOB is fun live. You can admire Andy from the neck down, and marvel at the Troh Hair. (Joe's hair is amazing. I bet he follows all the instructions at CurlyGirl.)
And Pete.... talks. And is very... ::facepalm::
And Patrick... Patrick does this thing with his chin...
It is hard to say why I find it so utterly beguiling and highly sexual, but I do.
megan & Perkins, how do you feel about a mid-week jaunt down to San Jose in the beginning of April to see Fall Out Boy and Cobra Starship?
Ticket price?
Sure

Nah. She played in lots of local LA bands in the late 80s-early 90s and then we were in a band together (how we met - I was the singer). None were signed or anything. Though I will proudly say we recorded demos for free at 2 very high-end studios (Record Plant and Westlake) and we had gigs at the Troubadour and Spaceland. Not too shabby.
I now have over 50,000 songs in my iTunes.
I now have over 50,000 songs in my iTunes.
Wow. I'm only at 14,000-something.
Hypothetical iTunes question for everyone: Let's say you download a song or album that you're curious about. You play it once and go, "Huh, that was interesting." But you doubt you'll ever listen to it again. Does it stay in iTunes?
ION, have people seen this? Courtney Love’s anti-Semitic rants revealed in Jewish magazine
American rock musician Courtney Love’s anti-Semitic views have been revealed in the Jewish magazine Heeb.
Love, who describes herself as Buddhist even though her mother is Jewish, spoke out about her ex-husband Kurt Cobain's legacy.
“Every time you buy a Nirvana record, part of that money is not going to Kurt's child, or to me, it's going to a handful of Jew loan officers, Jew private banks, it's going to lawyers who are also bankers . . .” the New York Post quoted her as saying.
Does it even matter much? I mean, do people read this and think, "Well, she's crazy anyway...."? Or are there still people who care what she thinks who'll go, "Hmmm... antisemitism. If Courtney does it, maybe I should give it a try...."
Tommy: yes, it stays in iTunes.
Jon: 51,688 for me. But I've been culling some of the flab recently.

Nope, not me, on the same anti-clutter principle that I'm trying to apply to my house.
