Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Can you talk him into new stuff that sounds like 80s new wave.

Probably not for that specific setting/character.

I have a bunch of Rhino's New Wave comps if you want to peruse or rip.

When do I not want to peruse the Rhinos?

Sounds like the wants more of the synth pop portion of New Wave

He definitely wants four-on-the-floor 80's dance. I'm going to have a ball with this one, for sure.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

He definitely wants a lot of four-on-the-floor 80's dance.

Romantics' "What I Like About You"?

New Order, Yaz, Erasure, and Marc Almond songs (all played in one 30-minute set) are what usually prompts the Stunt Husband to raise his hands and yell "Gay DJ Bingo!" on Saturday nights at the club.

I would also suggest Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, OMD, Eurythmics, Cyndi Lauper, Adam Ant, and Bow Wow Wow. Ooh, and "Johnny Are You Queer?" by ... crap, I can't remember. Off of the Valley Girl soundtrack.

HAR! I so want to go dancing with you guys.

Romantics' "What I Like About You"?

I'm thinking "Talking In Your Sleep", maybe.

This is really fun, y'all. Thank you!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

"She's a Beauty" by the Tubes?

Because books.

Oh, I love "She's a Beauty."

I think I actually have the 12-inch of Romeo Void's "Never Say Never" ... somewhere.

Our wings are not tired.

General Public and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

I think my favorite song for that era and genre was Duran Duran's "Relax". (Unfortunately the Anne Rule book about Diane Downs sort of ruined Duran Duran for me.)
