you aren't the only one. unfortunate name.
Especially since it's an Anglicized "Gautier."
I may have mentioned my views on autotune before. When it was new and used occasionally as a gimmick, I could live with it. When Cher used it on "Believe," at least (1) it was a novelty, and (2) Cher had already proved that she could sing without it. But now, it's vastly overused and hopelessly obvious. At least try to use it like make-up -- if you have to use it, at least try to make it look like you don't.
check out this acapella version of "Somebody I Used to Know."
love it.
good grief. long day.

NYAN WAITS
A Tom Waits/Nyan Cat... thingie.
We have just ordered a bunch of cds (on sale and VERY cheap) from these folks: [link] I am listening to "Jazzin' the Blues Vol. 5" right now AIFG. If you are interested in blues or forgotten roots recordings, check 'em out.
A question I'm sure someone here
::cough cough HEC ::
will have the answer for: If I'm trying to track down a rare limited edition 12", is there a better way than searching for it via Google? Someday that pink vinyl pressing of "Bela Lugosi's Dead" will be MINE, dammit.

Most record collectors sell through eBay. There are probably a couple indie record stores though that do it as direct sales. Let me check.
