What's on everyone's rapture playlist?
So far I've got (just based on what happens to be on my iPhone at the moment):
Sin City -- Flying Burrito Brothers
Apocalyptic Modified Blues -- Corb Lund
Ain't That Good News -- Nerissa and Katryna Nields
Santa Monica -- Everclear
Hell -- SNZ (for Katherine Whalen!)
That's all I've got. I have a 5:00 deadline. Though really, should I bother?
What's on everyone's rapture playlist?
I haven't made one yet, but the two songs I absolutely KNOW will be on there are"
Doomsday Serenade - Jill Tracy (which I think she's offering for download until Saturday on her bandcamp page).
AstroZombies - the MCR cover. That ABSOLUTELY has to be on any rapture playlist I make.
Is 'It's the End of the World as we Know it' too cliche?
I'm not sure if anything is cliché when it is the apocalypse.
I plan on saying "yippee kay yay motherfucker" if I see the fireball coming.
Well then add, "London's Burning"
The Night Chicago Died
This is the Day (your life will surely change)
Oh, then I need to add "Night Of The Living Dead" by the Newlydeads.
I didn't realize I was starting a redundant conversation in Natter. I added to my Natter list anyway:
Until The End Of The World - U2
The End Of The World - The Cure
It's The End Of The World As We Know It - REM
The End Of The World - Laurie Anderson
Until The End Of The World - Julee Cruise
Yawny At The Apocalypse - Andrew Bird
Everything's Fine - Surfing Brides
(I'll Love You) Till The End Of The World - Nick Cave
Last Night On Earth - U2
Last Man In Space - Violet Sedan Chair
The Earth Died Screaming - Tom Waits
Fire on the Mountain- The Grateful Dead
Funtime at the Beach- The Dead Kennedys
So Far From Your Weapon- The Dead Weather
And how could I forget Re:Your Brains by Jonathan Coulton?
