Fortunately, I take the train into work, so I remain speeding ticket-free. There may have been toe-tapping in the carriage though (specifically when "Planetary (GO!)" came on).
Back when 4 Non Blondes released the dreadful "What's Up", there was a radio announcer over here who claimed that it had been so long since there'd been a good 'stand up and be counted' song. Which made no sense, because she was talking about "What's Up?" It would make perfect sense, however, about "Sing", which now comes to mind whenever I hear news from the Middle East these days.
I asked this in LJ/DW already, but I am curious about how people here would answer.
What's a song you like or love that you are pretty sure not many other people do?
"Shiny Happy People."
Sorry, I can't help liking that song.
There's a ton more but you don't mean obscure songs, do you?

You mean, other than half the #1 songs of the '70s?

I always assume a lot of other people like those though, even if they won't admit it.
Once years ago I brought my
Rhino Super Hits of the '70s
compilation tape to work. For just about every song that came up, some people were all "Oh, I hate this song; skip it," while others were "No, I love this song!" And which people fell into which group changed from song to song.
Few musical eras are as polarizing as the 70s.
I have great love for the theme for Greatest American Hero.
Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. [link]
Try and listen to it without singing, I dare you.
For me, the '70s were Queen, disco, Supertramp, the best years of Chicago, and Little River Band (my first concert!). And lots of other stuff, too.

I love that song. But I hate "Walking on Sunshine."
