Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

“Not dead yet!”

Can any one of y'all explain to me why I can't find original recordings of The Crystals? Is there some copyright issue going on that prevents the originals from being re-released?

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe some Phil Spector related legal issues?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I asked in Natter, but this is probably a better place. Is there a good place to try and sell LPs, or should I just donate them to my local thrift store?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Barb, I've got the Crystals Greatest Hits if there's a particular track or two you want me to post.

I've even got the rare "He Hit Me (It Felt Like a Kiss)."

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

The track I was trying to get was "Today I Met the Boy I'm Going to Marry."

Can you get it from the Father of the Bride soundtrack?

It's not on there. That was the first place I checked. Which is what made me wonder about licensing or copyright. That perhaps they could use it within the context of the film, but not put it on the soundtrack.
