Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How bad is it that I want to hear Gerard say "very much about punishment" over and over again?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

They are adorkable. And I am pretty lucky that I didn't get a speeding ticket when I was just in San Diego with an awesome rental car and Na Na Na. Because, yeah, you just keep going faster. I did get the Nephlet randomly singing Na Na Na though. So, win. It's not that he even heard the song more than ... a lot. He just kept hearing me sing it. Yay, infectious.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That was the saddest thing I saw yesterday.

Luckily, I also saw lots of happy-making things. I'm currently in Vegas at the Matador at 21 shindig. Yesterday, I saw Pavement, Sonic Youth, Fucked Up, Chavez and Guitar Wolf. I also saw lots of elderly zombies playing the slots, but that wasn't nearly as depressing as the Moe Tucker thing.

Sonic Youth

Did they play the same set that they played at ATP?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This might be a joke:

Did they play the same set that they played at ATP?

No, but it was still all older material. Rumor is that if it's just the four of them, they can't do anything past Goo since Kim doesn't know the bass parts!

My Chemical Romance will premiere their new music video for 'Na Na Na', on MTV (US) at 11pm (EST) on October 14th.

(Admire my restraint, folks. I didn't even post the link to the Q Magazine interview where Gerard says of the band's new look "some of the guys look like they sleep with men for money". My new theory is MCR is playing chicken with the fic writers.)
