Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The mashup album Best of Bootie 2009 is pretty awesome.

If nothing else, you need to hear the "Single Ladies"/"Andy Griffith Show" mashup, which I sent to buffistarawk.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I just played NirGaga for FAQWife the other night. It is indeed awesome!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ooo, I'll have to check out the Best of Bootie. I have a bunch of mashups I got from them. My favorite may be Single Ladies (in Mayberry) by Party Ben (which I see is on Best of 2009). No More Gas by Earworm is another good one.

Fans of mashups should also check out Girl Talk.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Tom, thanks for the link!

There are a lot of good ones there. In addition to the ones mentioned, I'm partial to "Just Stop Believin'" (Lady Gaga/Journey), "It's My Life Confessions, Pt. II" (Bon Jovi/Usher/Glee Cast), and "I Got More Than A Feeling" (Boston/Black Eyed Peas).

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I really liked the "Voodoo Sabotage" (Beastie Boys/Prodigy/Pendulum). The Kleptones do good work.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Speaking of mashups, I discovered a mysterious song on my iPod called "No One Takes Your Freedom" with George Michael, Paul McCartney, The Scissor Sisters, ?Aretha Franklin? and some others. It's pretty freaking awesome but I have no idea if it was some Aussie bootleg or if there's an actual album. Anyone heard of it?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Nebermind! It's by DJ Earworm. It really helps to get the title right and not rely on memory.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Did the Violent Femmes do a kind of bluegrassy cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit", or did I have some kind of auditory hallucination on my way to work this morning?
