You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I borrowed heavily from Wintergrace for a nice/religious mix I made for my parents this year -- thanks, David!

I also love the Roches.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are partial to Leon Redbone's "Island Christmas."

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'll be playing four hours of Xmas music on the radio this Friday, 8am to Noon!

I'm in negotiations with Claus right now. Bastard is holding out for more money (& frankincense & myrrh).

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

(The Family Wash)

Does J still work there?

Tom, I'm listening to the weird Xmas songs right now and it's, uh, interesting.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Does J still work there?

Hmm, I don't know! I don't know the names of any of the people there; we've only been a few times so far. (Should I know who J is?)

Eh, I'll email you. Too complicated without naming names.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Kathy, I haven't heard Setzer's version. I should check that out. Duke Ellington does a swing version of the Nutcracker too, but I actually prefer the Shorty Rogers.

thanks, David!

You're welcome! I'll just note that mix is available on Buffistarawk. Also my Power Pop xmas mix.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I still get a kick out of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas / Sarajevo 12/24."
