Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I wonder if that's Photoshop or reality-based.

The G-Way cheekbones do exist - they've been augmented, but they're there. I'm more freaked out by the fact that everyone's eyes look PESTED ON YEY. Creeeeeeeeeepy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cool interview with Jill Tracy.

Jilli! She wants to compose the music for the carousel in Something Wicked this Way Comes!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

This is a really lovely clip of a live performance of Swell Season, where they hear someone in the audience and bring her up the stage to sing the song with them: [link] (she's a very good performer, too).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am as deeply horrified by My Chemical Twilight as a girl could be.

I am very creeped out by the Photoshop abuse in those photos. But new album soon, yay!

Jilli! She wants to compose the music for the carousel in Something Wicked this Way Comes!

Of course she does! Because she's awesome like that.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I am cautiously excited by what I'm hearing about the new album.

Me too. I'm worried that if I don't have the same gut-level-insanity reaction that I did with Desolation Row that it'll be disappointing.

Surely at least one track will do that to me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

One of my alltime favorite songs--Poi Dog Pondering's "Living with the Dreaming Body".

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am delighted to report that Amanda Fucking Palmer lived up to her name this evening. Possibly more to report later.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
