The poster boy for the so-called “emo haircut,” Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has ended his long-term affair with the flatiron, at least for the time being. At Sunday night’s Fall Out Boy/Blink-182 show at Madison Square Garden in New York, Wentz declared it was “the death of the emo haircut,” and had Blink’s Mark Hoppus shave his head onstage while FOB played “Saturday.”

The eyeliner's been hit or miss for a while now. Also, the pictures of him look like early Fall Out Boy photos, it's like he traveled back in time.

This, however, is about the nineteenth time Pete has hacked off his bangs. He always grows them back. The man has a fivehead and he seems to be self-conscious about it.

I am going to be honest, I knew that was going to inevitably be linked here but I did NOT expect it would come from Tom. Hi, Tom.

He's said that the emocut was going away before but he's not actually buzzed the front for a few years. Maybe he just finally broke it off with the flatiron for good. There love was so overheated.
