I might go with something from Sunn 0))). Those guys make a great rumbling drone of feedback sound like the bowels of Hell.
Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
When Omar Vizquel was with the Indians, he used "Misirlou." It was absolutely perfect for him.
I like "Teardrop" by Massive Attack although it might be a little too lowkey. I just love how ominous it sounds.
IronMan
I have long thought that I should have a consulting business helping players pick those songs.
"Her Strut" - Bob Seger.
"One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer".
Oooh! "Atomic Dog"
How about 'Wham' or 'Rumble' by Link Wray and His Ray-Men?
Jon, I ordered that theremin kit!

Sick of the same old same old Christmas songs? Why don’t disco to some of the classics. Maybe not the best music out there but free. And makes a good present when downloaded and burned on a CD - for people who need a little bit more funk their lives. (Please don’t send me any - I’m funky enough)

Also, I wouldn't call all of them "disco", particularly "Deck the Halls".
Emmett has already decided that if he were a closer he'd use "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.
It's used by the Melbourne Storm as well. Good choice.
I would be tempted to use Hot Buttered's "Popcorn".
Jon, I ordered that theremin kit!
The Etherwave? Sweet!
