'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Category 5: Fishing for Compliments?

Good one dcp. Yep. And, depending on the person, most often an example of fear. Narcissists aren't fear-based, but lots of folks who aren't sure of their worth and need affirmation don't FEEL as worthy as they'd like to. Sadly, no amount of external validation ever fills that particular well.

Yay for the peroxide cure d! Given how unrelently cold it has been here this winter (relatively, of course), my peroxide bottle is getting a major workout. So far, so good. Only one hardcore cold and the quality of life during that one was still pretty good.

ION, I am totally addicted to a youtube video of 4 Swedish singers doing Hallelujah. The gap toothed fellow is Kurt Nilsen, the 2005 World Idol winner. I'm not much of a country music gal, but his voice is slaying me. Seriously. Send help.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

this show must be staged. The stuff this girl is getting total strangers to do is unbelievable.

for sure part of it is staged. They're acting like the challenges happen one after another but they're going from San Diego to Venice Beach to downtown LA.

And from a ways back:

I'm not overly Valentine-y, and I really DO hate to be all braggy (despite the title of this thread), but I fucking LOVE what I found for The Boy for VD (which I posted in Natter the other day): [link].

Steph, that is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. (and quite reasonable for art). I love paper craft. And a decoder to boot! I was also wowed by the artist's paper puppets. I wonder how long it takes him/her to manufacture the beauty you bought. The Boy will swoon, for sure.

I made very last minute, excruciatingly dopey pop-up solstice cards for my inner-circle, none of whom share my faith base. I'm sure the gold lame (imagine an accent on the e, but either way, it's true) sun popping up made each of them groan, but the thought was there.

If the only time you leave the house, is to go down the road to buy some smokes, does that count as "running an errand." I'm feeling rather slothy today so I'm trying to rationalize it.

I think it counts if you also buy something like milk or laundry detergent.
