I don't find neti pots refreshing, but I do find them often necessary. Sinuses are stupid.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sinuses are stupid.
Yes.
Clearly not designed for this climate. I cannot speak for certain if they worked better in the places where my ancestors lived. Somehow, I doubt it.
I've had to spray saline solution up my nose for several decades. So neti pots don't sound any worse. In fact the whole "they are not supposed to trickle down the throat thing" sounds like a real improvement over what I have to regularly.
Andi gets disturbed when i sing "neti pot" to the tune of "lollipop."
Andi had to take the overnight slot at work due to a cow orker needing emergency spleen surgery (Yikes!).
I am sitting here missing her, as are the cats Sammi and Harvey.
My nephew D turned 13 today! I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was getting the call that he had come into thisv world. I had no idea then how much he would affect my life. I wish I could be there today to give him a hug.

all this talk of Neti pots. Dude. My sinuses are KILLING me. My right cheek is throbbing from pressure. And I've gone thru a few boxes of tissues this week. Ugg. But I agree with Jessica:
but....ew! Water up nose!I'll see how I feel after work tomorrow. If I'm still feeling bad, I'll swing by CVS on the way home. ick.
I've been bad and skimmed a little bit. What's up with the Not Having Time To Do What I Want, anyways?
So far, we had a full 24 hours day without rockets in the south (the cease fire is on both sides, but if you don't mind, I'm looking at the meme aspect of this). I can't tell you how much relief that is. It's like a feeling of pure wonder. It's been only 22 days of hell and chaos, but the idea that I can listen again to music when I'm reaching Rocketland, go to places that are further away from 60 minutes running to the nearest shelter/flight of stairs is just... Wow. And without fear, or being on constant alert to see if I hear the sirens (yes, I know Gaza had it much worse, and yet. I'm talking about myself). And not constant worrying for my friends.
On that matter, although I don't agree with everything he writes, I think the last Grossman column is worth reading.
And I'm releasing some more feel better~ma all around.
