I think the other piece of advice I'd give is to find a low-detail explanation to give people.

In general, I don't talk religion with people. However, I sometimes find it necessary to say in someway that I am not christian, but I don't want to or can not discus in details.

well, I'm glad to hear it , vw. DH broke up with me( long before he was a DH , of course) , and it it was one of the better things for us. We both figured a lot out. I wish you guys the best.
