You were totally not respecting her space.
Guilty! But I was desperate for footage to send to Nanna.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

so , I love the grumpy fairy -- partly because she is right and partly because I've seen her ham it up for the camera before.
But just as a reminder, Hamas did try, more than once, blow up the gates and enter Israel
But in all fairness, not during the truce. But yeah, Hamas are definitely not good guys. Some factions are more pragmatic than others, but I think most Israelis agree that funding them way back when to undermine Fatah was a huge mistake. Not saying it was as obvious at the time... It seems like a lot of the missteps on both sides have come in part from fear of seeming weak to the other side.
Sorry, I thought about the truck-suicide bombing at Erez Crossing, but that apparently happened a week or two before the cease fire started.
And yes, it's fear.
Edit: reports coming in from the past 10 minutes about fire exchange from the Strip. I'll listen to the newscast in 30 minutes, hope to know more.
And yes, it's fear.
But not only fear in general, but fear of looking weak. A feeling on both sides "we can't let anyone get the idea we are not tough guys".
You gotta hear this.
An Israeli field hospital for the Gazans is gonna start operate soon from the border, insha'allah.
My mom just called me to say she left her details to work there for a while.
Oh, not only that kind of fear, Typo Boy.
There's a huge stigma about looking like a sucker here, on both sides. Anything but that, God forbid.
Oh god Shir! so much ~ma for your mom (sister too). {{{Shir}}}
An Israeli field hospital for the Gazans is gonna start operate soon from the border, insha'allah.
That is good news. And may you and everyone you love be OK.
Oh, it's a good thing. Surprising, but good. Hell, it's wonderful. My mom always wanted to work with PHR, too.
Plus, it's on the Israeli side of the border, she only left her details, so nothing is certain yet. She also hopes for payment, because we can't afford to volunteer at the moment. I hope she'll do it, and I'm very proud of her.
On the newscast, they say there were fire exchanges. 5 rockets landed in Sderot few minutes ago. What cease-fire...?
