Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ginger kitteh! What a pretty Liefur.

In the continuing saga of My Two Boys, we found shedded claw tips imbedded in both kitty faces. Sigh. Work it out boys, work it out.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Rest, WS. Don't take any chances with mono.

There'd be more, but he keeps coming up to me for cuddles and it's hard to get photos of a cat whose nose is in your ear.

I had a dog for 12 years whom I never got a picture of in focus. Her theory was that if I was looking at her, I could be playing or petting, so all the pictures are foreshortened as she races towards me.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Her theory was that if I was looking at her, I could be playing or petting, so all the pictures are foreshortened as she races towards me.

That seems to be Liefur's philosophy.

Thanks for the kitty complements, y'all. I'm very happy with him.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That's one handsome ginger dude!

Plus many many health vibes going out to all ailing peeps.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, progress of a sort: Taking a 3 hour nap is much better than taking a 3 hour tour.

Also, swallowing in general is no longer quite as painful. I got a bit ahead of myself trying to drink some lemonade, as the throat is not ready for sour. But "choking down some ibu" is more of an exaggeration than a reality at this point. I'll call that a win.

Don't take any chances with mono.

I'm sorry, I must have messed up earlier - they tested for mono, and it came back negative.

Yay for feeling a little better, WS--but you know they have liquid tylenol, right? I mean, personally the stuff reminds me too much of a time when I was sick and it...er...came right back up. But I'd think it'd be great if your throat hurt.

And yay for cuddly kitties!! Even if it means pictures aren't perfect, there's cuddles!

-ma for Suzi.

I got...less done than I wanted today. But I got *some* done. I am hopeful tomorrow will get more done, since I'm hopeful I won't wake up and have to do a whole dance with painkillers and naps and so on, like I did this morning.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Her theory was that if I was looking at her, I could be playing or petting, so all the pictures are foreshortened as she races towards me.

That seems to be Liefur's philosophy.

For many months it was Matilda's philosophy too; our hard drive is full of blurry images of her 12 to 20-month-old lurching looming forehead.

we found shedded claw tips imbedded in both kitty faces.

Oh, that can't be good. Please work it out, you two. You're both charming gentlemen and there is enough of Tom, Nora and their gorgeous house for both of you.

Sorry, been skimming a bunch. Work has been good busy, but busy. brackets & hairpats for those that need it.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about the new ferry service from Chelsea Pier to Battery Park. Looking at the news reports while at dinner (picture, no sound) it looked truly amazing! That pilot is made of the awesome!

I briefly thought about requesting my antibiotics in liquid suspension. And then my gag reflex slapped me upside the head. Throat hurts as badly over swallowing liquid as solids. So may as well stick with stuff that doesn't have lingering taste.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

SHOCKED! and thanks.

Um, I'd left before you posted so it's going out tomorrow. Yeah, me and the postal system -- a match made in slapstick comedy, but without the comedy.
