We were supposed to go see Role Models yesterday

Emmett and I saw Role Models over the weekend. It was funny. We also got in a baseball practice in preparation for next weekend's tryouts.

Emmett hadn't picked up a bat since the Division championship, and it was probably the best batting practice he's ever had. I've noticed this with bowling too. Sometimes when you take a break you wind up forgetting all your bad habits, and your body just does what it knows how to do.

Today and tomorrow are no school. (Veteran's Day and Teacher Planning day.) Emmett goes back to his Mom's house today. But tomorrow JZ is off work, and so am I and Matilda is in daycare. Which is pretty much a once a year event which we plan on exploiting.

That's so weird, sj! The thing is, I got about six hours. Not a great night's sleep, but it certainly should not have caused incoherence this morning. I'm not sure what exactly happened there. I've been less than productive this morning and am about to teach four classes in a row, though, so I'd better go for now. *yawn*

I'm jealous of days off. We're at school all week this week. I can't complain; we don't get Columbus Day or Veterans Day because we tack them onto Thanksgiving in order to have that whole week off, but it would be a nice time for me to catch up. Am sooooo far behind.
