I'm working from home today so that I can focus on drowning out a cold trying to take over my chest, head, and throat.

Since I am home I was watching Morning Joe and was very amused to see the host say 'Fuck You' on camera. As you know, I pretty much have never cursed, but it was just funny that he had no clue that he did it as all around him were choking. He a bit later got a text from his wife reminding him that his child watches him. Funny, and You Tube already has it up. [link]

Also, the last 50 or so posts make me want to start baking.

Ugh. Joe was up until 4am emptying the contents of his tummy, which considering that he started at about 7:45 last night, wasn't much. I missed class this morning, Emeline missed the bus. It's been a whackadoo morning.

I'll have to check out that youtube video when I get home tonight. On the one hand, bummer that I can't watch it at work... On the other hand, now I have something to look forward to. Other than the part where I get to go home.

If my pants are any indication, I gained some weight this weekend. Fingers crossed that it's just water weight, especially since DF and I have been on low-carb for over a month now and neither of us have lost at all. We hadn't gained though, either, which is why we were going to stick with this until at least Thanksgiving.

GRONK. Back from sleep study, and after a shower at the sleep clinic, I STILL have electrode glue in my hair.

Oh. I just pulled on the electrode glue and there was a BANDAGE THINGIE still glommed in it. GROSS.

I took 3 Ambien and managed to actually fall asleep this time. Yay. It was crap sleep, but it was sleep.

I want to nap this morning, but I'm pretty sure I'll find out about whether or not I got the job today, so I'm gonna sleep with the phone by my head.

Poor Joe. I hope he is feeling better today.

I just found out that my friend P (the one who I was trying to reconnect with recently) is getting a divorce. Her STBX let T know. I feel awful about it. She cut us out of her life, but I was comforted by the fact that she still had him.

the most exciting thing in this house was the cat almost falling over because he was tryng to make me put down the food bowl now and walk backwards at the smae time.

Erin, can you believe how stubborn that electrode gel crap is?!? When I went in for my sleep study, I had assumed that the next morning I'd be able to stop at the store on the way home. Yeah... nsm. Not unless I wanted to look like the Something About Mary hair "gel" scene TIMES TEN. Nasty.

It's made of EWWWW, Nicole. I'm thinking about getting a lice removal comb to get it all out!

Euch, poor Joe. Nothing like a really excellent case of the stomach flu to make you feel like utter shit. I hope he feels better soon -- and that the rest of the family doesn't catch it!
