Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

He's gorgeous, Nora.

It occurs to me that your household could use some kitty crack pads.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Joe, what is the status of that transporter? I got a marriage proposal, but the commute to work will be a bitch. Shir, I'm glad you like the brownies too. Let me know when you need another batch.

wrt milk, I just don't buy it. I hardly use it, so it's bound to turn on me before finishing. If I need to make something with milk, I buy for that.

Dog control when walking is a main reason for me not getting one. Also long work hours. Although I have thought about a service dog that didn't quite pass the class. I figure it's trained better than the average dog and could be helpful.

IfootballN, I woke up in time to watch my Eagles. I think this will be a nasty game, mostly about defense.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Nora, he looks magnificent.

Let me know when you need another batch.

Did I mention the various ways on which you rock?

Hey. New board.

That is a pretty pretty kitty, Nora.

I have little to say on dog control, having only become involved with a dog - an adorable pointer mutt belonging to Improbable Girl - within the last couple of weeks. He is pretty well trained. He's a little exuberant, still, being about 7 months old, but very good at following basic orders and being generally polite.

Plus, he's just a sweet puppy. I've never qualified myself as a dog person, though I've always liked them. Django might be changing my mind.

Here are some pictures of me, Django, and his lovely owner: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Kitty! Puppy!

It looks like Marley will be a wonderful addition to the family. Enjoy!

Go Django with making Gris a dog lover! Pretty girl too.

At the moment we have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 4 fish. Georgia doesn't want to live with another cat, but I may end up getting another dog. Brandy gets along well with others as long as they don't want to play with her. She has no use for puppies at all.

“Not dead yet!”

Got news for you, Gris. That dog likes you. And wants to keep you.

Also, pretty, pretty Improbable Girl.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Gris and Django and Girl are all very pretty!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am a milk date #2 person. I mostly use milk in coffee (though I use milk more in winter when I make soups), so I must sniff/taste. There are few things more annoying than having milk curdle in a fresh cup of coffee. This morning (okay, afternoon), I had some of the fresh organic coffee that I bought in Mexico AIWFG!!!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Barb, have you ever tried a Gentle Leader?

I will wholeheartedly second the rec. Last time I had a dog, it was a rescued Brittany Spaniel mix, and he was intelligent, wily, and headstrong. He always found something more interesting to look at when I was walking him with the collar, but the Gentle Leader made him pay attention to me. (As opposed to the Sheltie that I had before that, who was always right by my side, unless he was attempting to herd the cats.)

“Not dead yet!”

Yep. Best thing ever when Sasha was in her young, exuberant, attention span if a gnat phase.

Well, with you and juliana both reccing it, I'd definitely love to give it a go if you don't mind sending it my way, Pix. I'd really love to incorporate walking Jasmine into my newly rediscovered exercise routine. She gets a lot of exercise running around the yard with Pisces, but walks are of a different ilk altogether-- so many new people to see! It makes a Lab happy!

In that pull your arm out of the socket sort of way.
