Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And back to our usual program: Go to bed. It's good for you. Xbox will be all obeying tomorrow.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My mom just forwarded me an email that she'd gotten from one of her friends, which linked the the IDF public relations YouTube channel, and claimed that this was the only place to get the "real" story about what was going on, and that YouTube (which was referred to in the email as "the U Tube") was threatening to remove the videos because not enough people were watching. She wanted to know what I thought about it. I responded that the IDF public relations people weren't exactly a great source for unbiased news, and that there's no such thing as YouTube removing something because not enough people watch it, and I included a link to Ha'aretz as a better source of news.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The problem I have with washing the dishes, is that afterwards people insist on using them all over again.

YouTube removing a video because not enough people are watching it? Heh.

I did hear, however, that a lot of people marked IDF videos as offensive contents, so that channel was taken down for a few hours because of that.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nora, congrats on new cat having. Also, congrats to Marley!

The Humane Society recommends keeping the new cat in a separate room for a few days, and swapping out bedding items so each cat gets used to the scent of the other. [link] Another hint that sounds eminently reasonable, is during the "quarantine" time, put their food dishes on either side of the door, so they get used to associating the presense of the other with food, a good association.

ETA: I should say, that I have never bothered with that kind of advice, and just let 'em all in together.

Also, I think that if letting them sort things out for themselves at first does not work out, you can go back and try again with a quarantine period to reset things.
