'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My mother can't sing particularly well, but it's never stopped her.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Foot update: it's looking much better this morning. There's still a definite bruise, but it's less swollen, and doesn't hurt as much.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Did she ever wake you up singing "Oh, how I hate to get up in the morning?"

My mother would wake me up by singing "Ohhhhhhh what a beautiful MORNin'! Oh, what a beautiful daaaaaaaaay! I've got a beautiful FEELing! Ev'rything's goin' my way!" Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Then lay about you with heavy fists, sir! It's your birthday.

Okay, but you have to lead the Bail MM Out of Jail Buffista Donations.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Oh God, my mom used to sing sometimes in the mornings, too. As I was never a morning person, it didn't end well. Poor mom.

Hahahahaha! It never got physical but usually ended in a verbal fight as I would be pissy, she would be angry about pissiness, etc.

I was too incoherent to do anything but burrow further under the covers/cats, usually. And maybe flail pillows at her.

Because books.

Mom used to come in, snap up the shade, and warble, "Rise and shine, morning glory!" It was delivered fairly sarcastically, but it didn't make me any more receptive.
