Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hil, you might want to alternate the ice with a warm epsom salt soak to see if that helps, but definitely go to a doctor if you're still in pain tomorrow.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

One thing that used to help me when my legs were sore after a long shift waiting tables is lying in an L shape with my legs supported by the wall for about 20 minutes.

Laga, I do that too. Usually with a small pillow under my lower back.

Oh, that's AWESOME. Something so simple helps SO much!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Well, I wouldn't. I've give it another day, and then another, and then probably a week or so of hobbling around before I got my ass to the clinic because I am stupid like that. But for a normal person, I would advise another day.

Ha! I am Brenda. I am the person who says, "It's just a flesh wound."

Hil, do you have some compression bandage? Wrapping it, at least while you're at home, might help, because it reduces the stress on tendons as well as reducing swelling.

The status is NOT quo.

Kristin, I send you alllll my sleep-ma. Sucks, I know. And I don't have to be somewhere in the morning. Would you like me to describe my bedroom ceiling, in excruciating detail?

Heh. We can change bedroom ceiling descriptions. It will be FUN!

Omnis and Hil, healing~ma to you both. Ouch.

I, too, want to live in Vortex's yesterday.

So I'm relieved. I just had the meeting with the student and the administrator about the plagiarism issue, and all is well. I mean, it sucked, but it went well. Student got a zero and is redoing that section of her paper, but there's enough of a chance that the plagiarism was largely unintentional and she was contrite enough for us to justify not suspending her and having to contact every college she is applying to. Thank the gods that's over and dealt with.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That sounds like the best possible resolution all around, Kristin. Glad it went down like that.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

as you all might recall, I shanghai'd this here desk I'm at a few months ago. Do you know what the best part of being at this desk, with others in office land. When co-worker says "hey, we are going to Whataburger for a Milkshake run, you want one?"

It sure is making this bad day better.

“Not dead yet!”

x-post w/Natter:

Anyone who's been looking to buy a Wii Fit, this might be a good time to do so. Game Stop is running a promotion aimed at women, with various Wii and DS games/activities and they're more liable to have Wii Fits in right now. Lewis said they received several today in shipment.

Just an FYI.
