Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hope Daniel's mom recovers quickly and well from her ankle break.

So much ~ma for Daniel's mom and Daniel and WS. How scary!

And ~ma to Shir and her family and loved ones.

More ~ma to Suzi that things continue to work out on the house.

I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, so ~ma all around!

If I were to increase a recipe that's supposed to be made in a 9x9 pan to enough for a 9x13 pan, how much do I need to increase the ingredients? My brain will not let me figure this out today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

About a third should work, vw.

Ok. That's what I was thinking, but wanted confirmation...

Healing ~ma for Daniel's mom.

----

So in a brilliant "and now for my next trick" move, I managed to slip and fall getting stuff out of the car at work this morning. Yup. It was magnificent. The Russian judges even gave high marks. Managed to scrape my knuckles, scratch my forehead, and my pants caused a nice abrasion on my knee. Luckily the long hair is covering the forehead scrape. And no gushes of blood or anything. It kinda looks I did a quick coupla jabs at Fight Club and tapped out before I could get my ass whooped.

No hair pats needed. Just another thing to chalk up on this day that looks to be a wonderful day.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sorry, o-a. Quick healing-ma to your scrapes.

And extra healing-ma to Daniel's mom. Equilibrium and copability (is too a word) to Daniel and Andi.

(((Shir)))

Kristin, I send you alllll my sleep-ma. Sucks, I know. And I don't have to be somewhere in the morning. Would you like me to describe my bedroom ceiling, in excruciating detail?

Okay, I've got a lot of stuff bookmarked on LJ and elsewhere. I'm spooked about losing it, now. Somebody talk me down.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Huh. After the Hell Shoes yesterday, my left foot still has a few blisters and is a little sore. My right foot is still red and swollen and painful. This seems not good.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Wil Wheaton's latest column, which I think many a Bitch who cooks will like. Don't miss his byline at the bottom. [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Beverly, I downloaded and ran a backup of my LJ. It was very straightforward. I can email you the archive program I used. It is ljArchive. It sounds like LJ isn't going anywhere, but having a backup can't hurt. If nothing else it is available to you when you are not on line.

Ouch, shoes are evil. I can't even wear them if they have closed toes. Are you able to give the footsies a cool soak?
