Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll never have a perfect bra without a custom made one. Even the really exspensive nice ones, like Wacol and co, just aren't cut for my shape. I gave up.

I know Town Shoppe does alterations. It's included in the price of the bra, even not so spendy ones. Maybe other swank stores do too?

World's Best Boyfriend. I kid you not. The man gets home from work two hours later than he should due to work wackiness plus weather, and yet he is out there right now clearing the ice off my car.

Yeah, he might just keep the trophy for that one.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Town Shoppe alterations are wonderful. It's the only way I've ever gotten a strapless bra that fits.

I just watched the "Little Minnesota" episode of HIMYM, and I cannot stop laughing.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm glad Daniel got back home, WindSparrow.

Over 30 wounded IDF soldiers since the ground op started, about 11 hours ago.

Names I know and probably are in there/will be called soon keeps popping up in my mind. Government granted permission to call tens of thousands to reserve duty yesterday.

Tens of thousands. And they still not calling this war.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Fay, I'm sorry. My grammar skills are bad. Spelling too. Language classes were always my weak point. I re-read my posts, and catch a lot of errors, but not all. I'm sure I make Baby Jesus cry a lot. It's not on purpose, I assure you.

Shir, I have no clue what to say. You know you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

At this point, I kind of wish they'd call me for reserve. Sitting here, doing nothing, trying to live my life as normal seems craxy. Even if that will be helping fighting for something I'm not that approve of. For they are butchering the Strip. They try not to, but that's war for you.

At least 2 of my very beloved high school classmates are inside the Strip. Didn't check about the SF/F community (but I know at least one is there), my work or my uni yet.

There are rumors about 2 kidnapped soldiers, too. So far, no authorization from IDF about it, and I hope there won't be one as well.

Edit: government and media says there was no kidnapping. Apparently Hamas also said that they killed a tank's crew last night.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Guys, thank you, but it's ok. You know, not ok as in "sun is shining, birds are singing, these guys are checking you out", but if I'll get hugs on every update I would clog this thread within two days.

And again, thank you so much. For support, for anything. It's really strange to tell "outsiders" about this for the first time - and this alters the way I tell things. I don't talk about the not-war like I talk about it with other here. Somehow, I sound a lot more paranoid and 10 year old when I talk about it here. And it doesn't seems right, or getting along with the "grow up and accept the suckiness of things". People here are more like "yeah, another war. What's new?".

But I swear. I'm gonna go and study peace and conflict studies for my MA. And I'll do it abroad.
Anyone has recommendations about that?
