I have heard of a guy who decided to sleep it off being arrested for dui when he was parked with the keys on the seat next to him but I think that was an extreme case.

They're in Silverlake, which is on the east side between Los Feliz and Echo Lake (where I used to live). It's a hipster/gay neighborhood on the other side of the Hollywood Freeway.
