That's great, GC. Home is where the healing is.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Woo! May the comfort of home speed the healing.
Yay for GC going home! Get ready to party hard tonight! woot! OK, maybe you should take it easy tonight.
Yikes Meara, I hope the migraine wanes. Sounds like the drugs are giving freaky effects.
Andi, sweetie, I meant reassigning the trouble-maker. Not you! Let her go get bit by that resident. It would probably make her very happy with her drama-seeking ways.
Oh, no! We have a great house manager at the house with the biter. That one actually listens to staff who have something to teach her about how to handle stuff. Put this clueless wonder in there where she would increase the biting? A world of no! But she has mentioned that she and her husband have been discussing moving closer to where his job is, up in the Cities, where she could easily find another job of this kind, only better paying. To which I say, I hope she is able to meet her goal soon.
And then I will have a little talk with her supervisor requesting that the next house manager he hires be someone with an actual clue about professional responses, learning theory, and behavior management.
Oh, good, GC! Hope you get to relax, take some good drugs, and heal quickly.
I love my doctor. He said to "have a glass or two of champagne tonight for pain relief." Hee!
Hi, Smonster! [waves through the holy-shit level winds]
And yay, GC!
In less happy news, I just tore my favorite leather coat. (Not the Spike coat, for those who know me f2f, but the other one.) It's in a fairly noticeable place, and I'm not sure how to repair it. Damn it—I really like that coat.
You people need to talk more. I have another hour and a half to go!

Yay, GC for getting to go home and medicinal spirits!
I am having, so far, a completely problem-less day of US Airways flights. I've had two. One to go. Lots of flights to get from NYC to Ohio, but I clearly had to fly by way of TWO North Carolina cities.
Delta had a direct flight that would've been a lot easier. To get a round-trip ticket that used it would've cost about $280 (enough more than I paid for this one not to be worth buying it and canceling the return), but a one-way on the SAME PLANE? $550. I do not understand this business model. If $280 makes it worth it for me to fly on two planes over three days, shouldn't I be able to fly just once, on one, for, say, $170 or $180? Is the second flight magic, and worth -$270?
